Journeyman carpenters and apprentices

Journeyman Carpenter (Crew Lead) We are seeking an experienced and licensed Journeyman Carpenter to lead a crew. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with extensive, hands-on experience in all aspects of residential construction, from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor a crew of carpenters and apprentices on-site. Oversee and perform all aspects of foundation work, including forming, pouring, and stripping concrete. Lead framing activities for floors, walls, and roofs with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure projects are built to code and company standards. Coordinate on-site tasks and ensure the safe operation of all tools and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, enforcing all safety protocols. Solve on-site challenges and make critical decisions to keep projects on schedule. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Journeyman Carpenter ticket (Red Seal is a strong asset). Proven experience leading a crew in both framing and foundation work is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of experience in residential carpentry. Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints. In-depth knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Apprentice Carpenter We are looking for motivated and reliable Apprentice Carpenters who are eager to learn and advance their skills in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain high-quality experience in conventional and modular building techniques. Key Responsibilities: Assist Journeyman Carpenters with framing, foundations, and finishing tasks. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, steel, and other materials. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and follow instructions from crew leads. Safely operate hand and power tools. Help maintain a clean and safe job site. Actively participate in your apprenticeship training and demonstrate a commitment to learning the trade. Qualifications & Experience: Must be a registered 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year Apprentice Carpenter. Previous experience in residential construction is required. Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Ability to work well in a team and follow directions. Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is an asset.
