Outreach Worker

Wage: $24.00-$29.52 per hour

As a Full-time employee, you will:

Position Overview

The Outreach Worker:

• Provides support to women and children in the SPARK Transitional Housing Program as they move forward from relationship and family violence.
• Promotes positive parent child relationships through guidance, role modeling, and support.
• Supports family strengths, wellbeing, and goals through individualized planning and case management.
• Assists families with daily routines, practical needs, and activities at Dol-Mar Manor.
• Develops and facilitates weekly programming, wellness activities, and ongoing individual and group support.
• Maintains accurate, timely, and professional documentation in accordance with SPARK policies.
• Collaborates with referral partners to ensure coordinated and seamless client services.
• Completes housekeeping, laundry, gardening, and general facility maintenance duties.
• Helps maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment while following emergency and risk management procedures.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

1 Full-Time Position: 8-hour shifts.

Schedule: Daytime, evening, weekday, weekend shifts

Experience and Competencies:

• Diploma or degree in a human service field is preferred, but a combination of related training and experience will be considered.
• Excellent knowledge of the issue of family violence, and trauma aware supports.
• Previous experience in related field would be an asset
• A valid driver's license combined with a 3-year clean driving history.
