Board of Directors Member (Volunteer)

The Libbie Young Centre is seeking committed community members to join our Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you will help guide the organization through strategic leadership, governance, and advocacy.
What You’ll Do (Key Highlights)

• Provide governance and strategic direction for the organization
• Ensure programs remain effective and aligned with our mission
• Review and approve budgets and financial statements
• Support fundraising efforts and community partnerships
• Act as an ambassador for the Libbie Young Centre
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding future Board members

• 4–6 hours per month
• Attend monthly Board meetings (no meetings in July & August)
• Participate in committee work as needed
• Optional but encouraged: attend special events (e.g., Client Recognition Day, Christmas Social, Fundraisers)
