Job Description:

As a Security Agent at Midwest Mobile Patrols & Security Services LTD., you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients’ premises. You will be responsible for preventing and responding to security incidents, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring the overall protection of property and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activities and ensure a visible security presence.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify and address potential security breaches or emergencies.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing appropriate actions and reporting any issues to the relevant authorities.
• Access Control: Manage and monitor access points, ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted entry to restricted areas.
• Report Writing: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and any other necessary documentation.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns.
• Emergency Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of emergency procedures and protocols, and conduct drills as required.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to security and safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in security, law enforcement, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Certification: Security Guard License (or the ability to obtain one) and First Aid/CPR certification are required.
• Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
