About us:
The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization that strives to make doing business in Lloydminster as successful as possible by advocating on behalf of our members, offering various value-added programs and offering networking events to help our members grow their business.
In partnership with various organizations, the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce coordinates the Economic Partnership Summit, which works to develop indigenous partnerships with industry opportunities.  The summit brings together businesses, leaders and Indigenous people to look at best practices, models that work and build partnerships.

Position:
The Economic Partnership Summit Marketing Assistant will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications for our annual conference we hold, the Economic Partnership Summit.

Specific Duties:

• Collecting business bios and posting to the website
• Collecting bios from the speakers and posting to the website
• Collecting sponsor logos, posting on website and social media
• Preparation of conference emails
• Taking meeting minutes
• Manage the Summit social media accounts
• Phone calls to businesses and surrounding communities to invite to the event
• Prepare and send mail and email invitations
• Send sponsorship package to list of businesses provided
• Follow up with all contacted businesses and communities
• Prepare written monthly reports
• Prepare/print table tent cards and programs

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and Email applications
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Must have a valid driver’s licenses and reliable vehicle 

Remuneration:
This is a full-time, temporary position.  35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. $18 per hour.
