Pest Control is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Pest Control Technician to join our growing team in Lloydminster. We provide professional pest management services to residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial clients throughout the region. Position Overview As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest concerns, implementing treatment solutions, and educating customers on prevention strategies. You will represent SCAT! Pest Control in the field and play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and professional service. Key Responsibilities • Conduct inspections of residential, commercial, agricultural, oilfield, and industrial properties to identify pest activity and contributing conditions. • Diagnose pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment and prevention strategies. • Apply pesticides and pest control products in accordance with product labels, Alberta regulations, and company policies. • Install, maintain, and monitor traps, bait stations, exclusion materials, and other control measures. • Maintain accurate service records, treatment reports, product-use documentation, and customer notes. • Educate customers on treatment plans, findings, and preventative measures. • Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and inventory are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional condition. • Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and pesticide-handling procedures. • Travel throughout the service area to perform scheduled service appointments. Qualifications Required • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a satisfactory driving record. • Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route. • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • Physically capable of lifting equipment and working in a variety of environments. • Criminal Record Check. • First Aid Certification. • H2S Alive Certification (or willingness to obtain). Preferred • Alberta Structural Pesticide Applicator Certification. • Previous experience in pest control, agriculture, property maintenance, construction, oilfield services, or a related field. • Experience working directly with customers.
