Our Story
The Rurka family has been operating Home Hardware Building Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta since 1999. Our store has changed dramatically over the years, growing from a nuts and bolts hardware store into a trend-setting, upscale shopping destination. We have welcomed the addition of a variety of unique departments including Home Expressions, Personal Expressions, Gourmet, our Mark Cullen Approved Garden Centre, and, especially, our Timber Café featuring daily lunch specials and unique beverages.
Our store has been the recipient of a number of local and national awards, including the Walter J Hachborn Store of the Year award, the Canadian Gift and Tablewares Retailer of Distinction award and the Hardware Merchandising Outstanding Retailer award.
